Job Overview

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices for TP. The primary focus of this role is to ensure correct invoice registration, maintain vendor accounts, and support efficient Procure-to-Pay processes.

You will work closely with Purchasing, Accounting, and business stakeholders to ensure invoices are processed in accordance with company policies and payment terms. You will monitor invoice approval workflows, resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments, and ensure the timely execution of payment runs.

In addition, you will be responsible for posting bank transactions and performing reconciliations of bank and corporate credit card accounts, ensuring that all payments and transactions are accurately reflected in the financial records.

You will maintain strong control over the Accounts Payable administration and contribute to accurate financial reporting by supporting month-end closing activities. You will reconcile supplier balances, bank accounts, and corporate credit cards, identify inconsistencies, and proactively resolve issues.

You will also contribute to the optimization and continuous improvement of Procure-to-Pay processes while supporting compliance with internal controls and financial policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and register incoming supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor invoice approval workflows and follow up with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain vendor master data and ensure the accuracy of supplier records.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and execute payment runs in accordance with agreed payment terms.
  • Post and allocate bank transactions within the accounting system.
  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure balances match the general ledger.
  • Reconcile corporate credit card statements and ensure appropriate expense allocation.
  • Support month-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable and cash accounts.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
  • Monitor outstanding items and ensure the timely clearance of vendor balances.
  • Support Procure-to-Pay processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and financial controls.
  • Perform ad hoc administrative and financial tasks related to Accounts Payable.
