Job Overview
The Junior Reporting Specialist supports the Business Controlling team with day-to-day reporting activities and data preparation. This role focuses on ensuring accurate, timely, and well-structured financial reporting while gradually developing business understanding and analytical skills.
This position offers an excellent learning opportunity and a clear development path toward a Business Controller role.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Data Support
- Support the preparation of recurring management and group reporting packages.
- Prepare and update Excel-based reports, templates, and analyses.
- Collect, validate, and organize financial data from various sources.
- Support monthly and periodic reporting activities.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of reported figures.
Analysis & Ad-hoc Support
- Perform basic data validation, comparisons, and variance analyses.
- Support the team with ad-hoc reporting and data requests.
- Help transform financial data into clear, structured, and meaningful reports.
Process Improvement
- Maintain and improve existing reporting files and templates.
- Support the standardization and simplification of reporting processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and data quality.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with Business Controllers and Finance colleagues.
- Act as a reliable point of support for reporting-related questions.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders.
Skills & Personal Attributes
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Strong affinity for numbers and data analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and structured worksheets.
- Ability to work accurately with large datasets.
- Interest in financial reporting and business performance analysis.

- Good command of English (B1/B2 level or higher).
- Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Hands-on attitude and willingness to support the team where needed.
