Job Overview

As an Accountant within the Shared Services Center, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports and maintaining accurate financial records to track the organization's assets, liabilities, profits and losses, tax obligations, and other financial activities.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to management.
  • Prepare and finalize monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Manage accounting processes and activities, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), account reconciliations, and related tasks.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to support intercompany transactions and activities.
  • Support forecasting and budgeting exercises in line with corporate guidelines.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external parties, including auditors, tax advisors, corporate secretarial service providers, tax authorities, and government institutions when required.
  • Support and ensure compliance with all financial reporting requirements, tax filings, audits, procedures, and statutory obligations, both internal and external.
  • Assist with the implementation of new processes and financial systems when required.

Main Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a certified accountant qualification preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of IFRS.
  • Strong understanding of taxation principles and tax compliance requirements.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an auditing firm.
  • Proactive attitude with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
